Jonny Coote is a multi-instrumentalist, MD, producer and songwriter. Over the past 8 years he has worked with a number artists of various genres and styles.

Credits include; Josef Salvat, Foxes (inc. Pharrell Williams european support tour), Speech Debelle (Mercury prize winner), Moya (inc. support tours for Rod Stewart and Mick Hucknall), Folded Like Fabric (Tap Management) & Marika Hackman among many others.

His work has seen him play major UK & European festivals and also many TV appearances. Jonny is accustomed all sizes of stage, having played in small clubs, theatres, arenas and large festival stages.

As a Musical Director, Jonny has prepared many different sizes of band. From Moya (4 piece + backing tracks) to Marika (2 piece band, no backing track, triggered loops mainstage) ,Foxes (3 piece band + backing tracks) and Josef Salvat (4-piece + backing tracks, acoustic sessions) . Jonny Is very good at working out the best way to translate the music to stage retaining the sound, but giving a bigger sound for the stage.

Jonny is very confident with logic, mainstage and ableton and has put together advanced rigs for live use (using backing tracks, sample triggering, and loopers to create a powerful live performance).

As well as the live sessions Jonny can be regularly found in studio one, Brighton working with production partner Dino Psaras (Kromeangels, stripper) writing songs with Sian Evans (Kosheen, DJ Fresh), Steve Mac, & Ministry of Sound artists.
